Looking for a nice walking or cycling challenge?
The Way of Saint Francis is a pilgrimage route on foot or by bike that connects different “places” that bear witness to the life and preaching of the Saint of Assisi; a “new” pilgrimage route, intended to reintroduce the Franciscan experience to the regions where the poor man traveled during his travels.
The landscapes that the pilgrim will see are equal to those that conveyed joy to the simple heart of Saint Francis.
Walking on the Way of Saint Francis is therefore an authentic spiritual journey that responds to the desire of man, even modern man, to seek deep within himself the meaning of his own existence.
The route is divided into different stages and you can of course also extend or shorten the stages yourself. You can also order a special pilgrim passport, so that you can make stamps along the route to ultimately receive a testimony.
